      Hi!
      These are very nice close-up pictures that could be used as a reference at any time!
      They show the details of a textbook Quadratpunze badge with no backing plate:
      The hardware is typical as well, incl. the mark that gave these badges their name.
      The maker is assumedly Carl Dilennius - some hold the opinion that the square mark indicates non-precious metal
      (Btw.: Has anybody seen a definite silver piece with a square mark instead of "800" or higher, or "Silber"? If so, I would like to see pictures of it...)

        I have a similar cliche style badge with slightly different crown (less detail more iron cross style) and "800" on the pin instead of the square mark. No way I can provide photos as good as Walther's.

            The badge in the link looks like mine except, as mentioned, mine has "800" stamped on the pin.
