        Hi Mark,

according to the Ehrenrangliste he retired as a Major. I could not find him however in the 1919 Dienstalters-Liste. He is still listed in the 1918 edition as an Hauptmann.

        Regards
        Glenn

Lippe House Order Honour Cross 4th Class

Here is the reason for the query.......

What pattern tunic is this........ asit appears different than I have seen on other pre-war litzen.

                        Hi Mark,

no mystery there. It is the pattern of litzen worn by the commander and company commanders on the permanent staff of a cadet school and also by company officers at the Main Cadet School in Berlin....And also by the Adjutant of the Cadet Corps Headquarters!

                        Very nice photograph and tunic.

                        Regards
                        Glenn
