Medalbar restore done!

I was away for some reason regards to messy college things going around and had to left this project for a while.
Well now I finished the hell out of it, before this I was kinda in hurry and made a mistake, now however I assume I made it correctly.

Just take a look and feel free to pinch out my mistakes or some warm fudge or something whatever you want.

Hi Husaren,

I mostly collect single mounts so not very knowledgeable on longer bars so wait for the experts but I think your medal ribbons are mouted backwards from right to left instead of left to right. For example the EK II ribbon should almost cover the next one at left and so on until the end of the bar and not the other way around as you have it

Yes... I agree totally with Jean Claude. You have to start from the right and work your way left, finishing with the iron cross. This way, the ribbons overlap right over left. Some original bars, however, were actually constructed where the ribbons overlapped left over right.

Another observation: for a professional look, the bottom of all the medals should line-up straight. One medal should not be lower or higher than the others. Here again, some original bars were not constructed this way so it's not the end of the world.

Gees.. never noticed that.
I restored at this pictures state, that said the medal bar was wrong at the fist place I purchased?

And I do already know that medals should be in same height, I just followed the thread remains attached inside of the bar.
Can someone explain what's the best option in this case?

Bars mounted wrong (ribbons) is not unique. There are plenty of examples out there. Same goes for medals not being straight across the bottom. While I would not expect mistakes like this from a major medal house tailors in small villages could certainly do it like this.

I also wanted to get some feedback regards to my needle works and so on since this was my very first one to touch the medal bar for modification.
How much this would be worth on the market places with this state?

Sorry for the confusion; I taught you had "restored" the medal bar from scratch and mounted it that way yourself but judging from your last picts the bar is exactly the way it was originally with just the second medal replaced for the correct one so leave it as it is/was

Meh, Whatever you don't need to say sorry at all, we all do misunderstand things.
Speaking of which, if I made the medal bar from the very scratch that would have been the creation not the restoration and after that, could that be really deserve the name of original even without period workmanship?

Maybe I should create medal bars and sell them on eBay as original, I'll be rich as Trump, wish me luck. ha ha!
