i'm not sure about the one you think that it is an original - its the way of the reverse stamping + pin i don't like.
there was only one mm for this badge - karl möbius from berlin (and he had the right to produce this - because of this reason there is the number on the reverse!)
......... an example from this maker Christian? While very crude, this "lopped off" pin and hinge is important to me and quite specific to a maker I am researching. Having said that, the badge Ralph shows is much cruder than examples I have of this same style of pin/hinge. But, it's also a much earlier badge, by about 10 years.
all originals i have seen so far have an oval or round metal sheet foulded round the pin like my aluminium.
OR the repaired ones - but there you can see some remainings of the previous pin arangement.
but on the one ralph feels, that it is a good one, there is no remaning of an arangement visible in the middle of the reverse of the badge, nor is there any way of "working" of the removing visible.
and the details like the writting on the front isn't 100% in the way i like it.
these are my thoughts about this award.
but why you mean, that there is another mm for this badge?
Nein, aber es gibt einen Hersteller einen Stift verwenden ähnlich. Ich muß herausfinden, wem es ist! Aber ich kann nicht sagen warum gerade noch!
