I found this PLM on the net. I've never owned a PLM and only seen a few examples first hand. I'm not sure what era this PLM was made. The feet appear different than S&L pieces. Can I get an opinion on when it was made and who made it? It has an 800 maker mark on the arm.

Finding one sold as a fake will be very difficult. For the prices they get you may consider a good postwar S&L PLM, which has some official heritage and can usually be had for about $1000.
