Could anyone please help me out with this badge? It is a marksmanship Badge of either Prussian or Bavarian in origin. Any ideas on when that was awarded and what the name of this badge is?

Hello Sterling!
The badge has no military background. The inscription translates into:
" For faithful service in (sport-)shooting affairs (business)"
The crown points to Bavaria and that might give you a timeframe as well (early 20th century)

it is a badge of the protector Kronprinz Rupprecht von Bayern (see the "R").
