Cased EK1 But Need Help With The Maker

Had this cased EK1 for years now.

Very high quality frame with stove enameled iron core.

Would love to know the maker?
Maker mark is what looks like a Coat of Arms with a Fleur de Lis to the top when looked at through a loup, but who knows?

    Very hard to photograph!

    What does anyone think?

    Thanks

Rear pin & maker mark, which was hard to photograph.

And finally, together with 1939 Spange by Mayer.

      So, who made the EK1?

      Thanks

Your EK1 is a nice example marked for Meybauer.

                Great cross in top condition

I had also one Meybauer, but not so perfect preserved. Makers mark was in center, together with silver content mark (938).

I just re-read this post and noticed my phone's autocorrect stepped in.

Don't worry, I knew what you meant.

                            Great gesture & thanks.

I had a boxed 1870 EK2 with 25 year Oak Leaves once too.

But the thing I really regret letting go was a specially cased Imperial German U-Boat badge by Walter Schott, together with 800 framed EK1 & EK2.

A beautiful set but I needed to raise some money & sold both sets.
They went to a serious collector in Russia.

I shall try & sort photos out soon.

If only I had not been in the position to have to sell them.

                            Damned shame.
