    godet plm for reveiw

I have this one it is also marked 935 or maybe a 835 and the letters and crown are not chased. It shows wear on the front with a couple pieces of the enamel chipped off but nothing real bad on it . The plm is the ones that are two piece construction with the eagles added. Does anyone have know when this one would have been made. It also has a asterisk mark on the top of the wedge. I was told that ment these were issued during the war? Does anyone have any info on this being true? Thanks Cliff

Do a search for Tiger1 he posted one with the asterisk and I have one also. We met at SOS in 2016 to compare. So far we were the only 2 that had ones yours would be the third that I know of currently. TPK

Hi Leroy here is the picture of the asterisk mark. According to Gorden Arnold who own the medal and was a senior member of the orders and medals society of America he stated the asterisk mark was used during the time of the war 1916-1918 on medals that were award then . I don't know if this is true or not but that is what he stated . Cliff
