Non-combatant / Nichtkampfer Iron Cross 2nd class question

Hey guys.

I know that the EK2 for a non combatant bet 1813 and 1918 has the different ribbon to the combatant version however, I was recently told by another collector that the non combatant version of the cross had a different oakleave pattern or a marking on the oakleaves.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there an obvious marking that would be easy to see or would it be something subtle as in a differently shaped leaf?

Not, the only difference is the ribbon. And certainly the award certificate

PS. Please look at this award certificate of EK2 1870 for a doctor.

Text reads " das Eiserne Kreuz zweiter Klasse am weißem Band mit schwarzer Einfassung" - so the only indication for the non-combatant version are colors of the ribbon
