Please confirm if everything with this Halbmond decoration is okay.
I think it is o.k. but I can be wrong ...
    Thank you in advance.

Looking at the book I see several differences. Matt

According to Demir this one with the date below the Tughra missing the '1' (It should be '1333', but instead is '333') is common on this type of Werner star. Demir shows the same star in this thread from GMIC, but with a slightly different pin.

a cheap fake - have especially a look of the WERNER stamps.
The piece of Demirs book is a good one.

This was my first thought until I had a quick look at the GMIC post. But, going back and taking a closer look at that post reveals the differences, especially in the maker mark.

IMO too, Demir shows the same Gallipoli Star of Werner.

These Werners have been heavily faked these last years and way to many of them has been showing up on ebay etc. Caution should be taken.

                    Are you sure about that?

The seller peddles many questionable items.

As an original probably one of the hardest to find yet you can find these on eBay every few weeks. All fakes.

When compared to a period piece the differences in quality, among others, is very clear.
