I'm just learning the imperial crosses, so my question - what do you say about this EK1?
Have I met similar, were made by jewelers on order or processed after the war?

      Hi Jarek,

In my opinion this is a fake made with some real parts (core, frame, maybe even pin system).
      Best regards,

Honestly, I was suspicious, but I'm still too weak in the imperial crosses to diagnose ... Thanks Trevor !

I do not say no ...

... but I want to know from professionals, whether these crosses should be treated as "processed" originals, or completely fancy "flatboat" ?

... currently I can buy such a cross - and how much is it worth ? and how to treat it ?
lots of questions, not much answers.

Hi Jarek. I would not spend a dollar on that cross because it is fake.

I understand Trevor, that all the crosses shown below, with picture of soldier, are fakes.
My question is, are there any crosses EK-1914, with picture of soldier, that are not fakes?
We can meet these photos in many books about imperial crosses ... are all fakes also?
If yes, is o.k., but if no, how as a buyer I can distinguish no fake from the fake?

I hope I have clearly expressed my doubts ...

                      Hi Jarek,

I understand your question but I don't know the answer. It seems possible to me, but I have never seen one that I think is original. But also I don't look for them. Perhaps other members can post photos from their archives and we can discuss.
                      Best regards,

So another fake from The Iron Time? I must say that is the most expensive doorstop I have ever purchased.
