    comparing the signature of EK2-1914

I have a small problem - is this EU or EO signature coincident with the ED signature? I do not think so. Another is the distance between E and the second letter and D starts at the bottom, arched, and in the second signature U or O begins to be "square" ...
    What do you think?

I think they used separate letters and that is never consistent. I think it is the same maker.

I agree, they both seem like they say "ED" to me.

In that case, I consider it both "ED". I do not want to create new signatures

I suggested that both crosses have completely different cores.

That is entirely normal (even expected) on 1914 EKs. Your two crosses seem also to have the same frame shape, although even different frames would not be a surprise.

Both frames have very similar corners, which would suggest they are from the same maker. Jump ring markings are not always the easiest to decrypt as in the haste of stamping the alignment is not always accurate.
