Screwback pilot badge for your opinion

What is your opinion on this screwback imperial pilot badge ? Is the screwback factory done ?

There seem to be an awful lot of this type of pilot badge on the market at the moment , although I have not seen it in screwback form ... until now. The quantity of this style/ maker worries me a little , they seem to have all appeared suddenly. Having said that I have an example of this type but it is 925 silver and with a plated over reverse , I bought mine about ten to fifteen years ago , before these started ' appearing ' again in stamped format. I am sorry to say I am not convinced about this one , the screw disc looks brand new which is slightly concerning .

I think this badge is not a contemporary (prior to 1945) one ...
Soft details and rough surface, pitting between 7 and 8 o´clock on the wreath - and like Ferg pointed out - too many of this type popping up recently.
To answer the question regarding the hardware:
If it would be an owners repair or enhancement, you might exspect remains of the hingeblock and catch....
Not to be seen here, so I think it´s supposed to appear "original"...

My personal conclusion: Stay away!
