Nice bar, but imo the wrong decoration
Have a look at the LSM - he got it for 9 years - so i think his highest rank
was Vizefeldwebel/Feldwebel (NCO)
And your piece is a civil version of the Waldeck cross. It has the wrong position on the bar.
I think a silvered merit medals with X of Reuss would be correct. -

And practically medal bar is already dead once got abused at the first place getting ripped apart which loses its originality.

Agreed with römischIX. Please notice, this ribbon was used in Waldeck for civilian decorations. And directly behind the Iron Cross (and before EKF) should hang a military one . Please compare positions in bars, you have shown above. Ergo: Reuss medal with swords at this place

This example told me medal bar makers doesn't always keep that rule.
I do aware of that rule, in the circumstances of restoration just like I said, just wrapping up early until I happen by a Reuss.
It would be rather more convincing someone bring some examples than just typing about the basic rules, does anyone have similar one to compare?
Book actually doesn't offers that much examples overall, I think if there were more examples out there this could have been just matter of following known examples.
And as far as I guess none of the civil Waldeck receivers could have that Austro-Hungary awards, I've never seen any examples with them everywhere, so if you become picky about it there are lot to point out, I'm also picky that much that's why I'm still looking for Reuss wearers copy to use.

Not putting the proper award on the bar is not a restoration. Its not like Reuss Silver Merit Medals are hard to find either.
