    EK2 1914 "eye" marked

    Hi,

I have got a not common Iron Cross, which is marked <O> 800 (I mean). Is it an unknown maker, or may be already "decoded"?

    greetings
    Tomasz

I've neither seen that mark before.

The core of the cross seems like a Dillenius one.

My first thought was also CD, but the mark is like "O" between the brackets (O)

It's an interesting cross but it's not a CD or a [] (Quadrat) in my opinion.

The core is one of the same types used in CDs but this core is not exclusive to CD or [], and the frame of this cross is a totally different shape from the traditional CD or [] frame.

I think the cross is a fine original. I've never seen the mark.
            Best regards,
