    Lippe-Detmold Cross

Just wanted to get second opinions on this one. Wondering if ribbon is period or replacement, or if anything looks off.

    Thanks!

Nice cross. Ribbon is period noncombatant version.

The attachment of the large ring to the cross, can you post more pictures? Without ribbon. It is not typical of standard pieces which have a ball to attach to the large ring.

It looks to me like someone mixed up the be attachment for Schaumburg Lippe and Lippe-Detmold. Or its a Spangenstueck, but i think probably the clubs handiwork.

              Hi Jesse,

Yes, that was a concern for sure; and you're right about the attachment.

Only other pic of the attachment available from the dealer site that I can get - hard to see it clearly:

Right. Ribbon is OK, but I don't like the cross. Suspension is completely different as on awarded originals. And looks just too new.

                greetings

                  Thanks all,

Looks like I'll pass on this one. Appreciate the help!
