I want to show my new acquisition: an austrian shelter-half.

Here you can see the holes from a stitching.

There was a string attached to wear the shelter-half as a raincape.

The pictures is from the book "Die k.u.k. Armee - Christian Ortner"

Does anyone else has got an austrian Zeltblatt?

Hi Grenadier1982,

Yes, I have one. It appears to be unissued, but is maker and depot marked. This came into my collection in 1987. I don't see any stitching or other evidence of a missing cord. There is a cord that runs across the Zeltblatt from tip to tip, but it is sewn inside the canvas and is only for reiforcement.

that's really an awesome piece!

For my knowledge every Zeltblatt has got this cord.
Maybe there were differrent Zeltblätter.

My example is an early one. Perhaps this feature was added later? You piece looks like it is dated 1918.

today I got my second kuk Zeltblatt. This one has got the tunnel with a cord.

Maybe someone could help to identifie the stamps..
