Unknown Shoulder Boards Interesting Cypher

Anyone have any inkling on what these may be? Not sure they are German tho they came with a bunch of imperial stuff; they may be British possibly based on the crown design. Any help would be appreciated. The boards themselves are fairly heavy with metal bases wrapped in cloth.

I'm fairly certain these are Belgian and that is the cypher of King Albert.

Hrm; I've been trying to find something similar online for King Albert I then any Belgian royalty to no avail. Honestly I can't even find a similar pair of shoulder boards in wear for any country =/

Well you could be correct, I just found a photo of Leopold III wearing these same shoulder boards; now to try to find out what unit they are for or why he is wearing them
