Hi,

this is patriotic iron medal "Gold gab ich für Eisen", issued 1916 and designed by Hermann Hosaeus. This medal was given by Rechsbank to the persons, which made donations of gold, silver or jewellery for war purposes.

Medal is rather common. This one is privately mounted as a brooch.
