I have no idea what this is. This looks like a piece of jewelry. Can someone please tell me what this is? Silver? Approximate value?

Yes, it's a piece of patriotic jewelry and yes it is silver. That is what the
935 stamp on the back of the cross indicates.

Value whatever anyone is willing to pay but IMO 100-150 usd.

I think it's a freshwater pearl.
