Difficult to say because there is a lot more there than the cross. But apart from the lot, is this EKI for real ? Thats really whats interesting about considering the very few specimens around

        Incredible set.

I find the price ok. You have to consider the rarity of a genuine 1813 EK1 and what one will bring at auction -- and that EK1 appears to be genuine. I don't know about the paperwork but if it's all original, I find the price close to realistic.

        Thanks for the link.

I agree, looked at it a few weeks back and looks like an authentic C12 model from Heydes book.

The seller is among the most serious ones.

The text of his description is carefully written, with any detail.

Actually, the style of the sale's announcement at a first sight, sort of "mixed" my mind: I was thinking about another seller from the Stuttgart area.

But in this case, the piece looks as being a right one, in set with correct papers, documents, etc.

From my personal experience, I have nothing to complain with The House of History.

Winkler usually sells pieces on ebay higher than on his site. The difference is 10% (value of eBay fees). Plus he offers periodical discounts, up to 25 - 30%. Of course, he usually counts with this discount, when he creates the item price.

But it is still over my afford-limits, needless to say.
