I understood that this was your latest "catch" - the entire thing bought at an auction, flea-market or the like....
It never occurred to me it was just a typing error - until your answer to my post.
Good job, this display! Keep it in a shady area of the room and probably put glass in front of it to keep the dust away... (and if I were you, I would try to get rid of the coloured pinheads just for the visual effect!)

Yes it has glass in front of it - but that makes it difficult to photograph so I took it off for the pic. Of course no direct sunlight - I have been collecting for 25 years so this is a bit of a no-brainer. The pin heads will disappear once the display has reached its final configuration. As it is now it is only a temporary display. In a couple of weeks there will be three display cases: one with just WWI medal bars, one with Pickelhaube plates and one with just imperial WWI shoulder boards. I will show and tell again when these are finished.
