Agree with Patrick, i read Lautz too.

It might actually be transcribed as Lauetz as the u seems to have an umlaut.

My 2 cents:
- Replaced or repaired square (prongs seem to be made of brass and are shorter than originals, solder patches, cracked backplate)
- Signature overkill (three attempts plus monogram )
- Name is Lautz ( the overline was formerly used in written german to distinguish "u" from "n" or "m")
Very nice group if originally belonging together!

Nice textbook Juncker Observer badge in silver.
In my opinion period repaired pins on enamel center but still nice 100 Years old badge.
