This is one of th most common German decorations, rather not faked Yours is manucaftured by Glaser & Söhne, Dresden

Unfortunately now faked a lot, for some crazy reason, but yours is original. As has been said, really very common award, really not Imperial at all.

I can only confirm this, as I see these fakes on ebay from time to time. They appear mainly on (like-to-be) 57-er versions of combined ww1/ww2 medal bars.

So the reason is obvious - if you want to "create" convincing fake of 57er medal bar to ww1 veteran, Hindenburg cross is a must.
