      Hi,

      the gold one is a Prussian infantry shooting award, about skull no idea.

        The skull is an enlisted man's tradition badge of the Brunswick 17th Infantry Regiment. It was worn between the cockades on the cap. These are heavily faked. But, yours appears genuine. You paid top dollar for these two, but not an outrageous price.

          Thanks guys for the feedback.I gave $100 for the skull & $170 for the badge.I think I might have over paid by $45 bucks total. I had a good time at the sale & met a guy who told me he had some German items too & will call me.

            I have seen similiar shooting awards a 160 euro in a German web-shop, so the price looks to be correct
