Don't let anyone talk you out of this telling you it might not be real. It is original. Someone on eMedals has had one for sale in a case, and in better condition, for $650. It's been unsold for a looong time though. One without a case would sell for a lot less, but it is a specialized market.
The Bavarian War Cross for Austria sells for a lot less, maybe $45 to 75 with proper ribbon. I am not sure why the the prices differ so much--possibly due to some bad information or a crazy auction price realized one time.Comment
