    Very nice pics Daniel!

Interesting how the background color affects what we see. Same crosses as above on the green background.

Amen to that Tony, bad pics can really ruin a nice cross.

Super nice Prinzen. Same cutout around jumpring as most of those that has not been repaired, Tonys and mine for example.

              Thank you my friend!

You've got a really nice pair of crosses there, Tony!

Beautiful crosses shown here, can't wait to see how many more we'll get to enjoy the view of!

Guys, there has to be more persons on the forum who own a 1813.
Perhaps they could be PM'd that they would join this thread

                    Can I join?

I love meetings where you can stay home! Here are my present two. The 2nd Class is an 1813 frame and someone inserted a Landsturm cross, maybe to replace a broken iron one. The ribbon has watermarks making it a later replacement. The 1st Class I purchased on eBay right after it began in the earlier 2000's for $100. I was happy to have one exactly like it show up in Wernitz and Simon's new book, as well as one or two other references. The camera, or I, was a bit out of focus so the beading, although worn, does not show as clearly. It is very, very fine on both.

                      Re: Can I join?

I forgot to mention that Wernitz and Simons propose that the EK1 in my post, was one of the early made batches started Nov. 1813.

Also, a correction: The core for my 2nd Class is a Landwehr cross, not Landsturm.

                          34mm wideframe Prinzen

Cutout around jumpring & same frames as most, connected through the flaw 'scrunched beads nr 17 & 18'. Obverse on 4 'o clock bead row & reverse on 7 'o clock dito.
