I think its good...nice patina as I like to see em, has hook plate repair...but this is seen frequently. Front has honest wear. -

The style of the pin and hinge lead me to believe it's a Wagner. Also,
the core design is one of the known styles used by Wagner.

scroll down to the WS section and compare for yourself. Small details
like the way the beading of the frame comes together at the corners
may help you confirm it's identity.
---and to answer your question, yes, Wagner and Sohn marker their crosses
"WS" just to the right of the catch. Which on yours would have been covered
by the repair.Comment
