Seeking my opinions please on this Bavarian Pilot Badge Please

    Hi Guys,
So time ago I spent quite sometime reading the Karl or Carl Poellath Pilot thread, and still was confused at the end of it. Could someone who may have read the thread or have knowledge of these markers, confirm if one or both are correct period makers of the pilots badges, as I have seen period cases for the the Carl, especially ones contain pilots badges.
I have attached a couple of pictures of a hollow pilots badge with the marking along the pin, i have not encountered the markings on the pin previously, perhaps other may have.' genuine piece or not???
I look for to your thoughts, on the Carl or Karl and especially on this badge.

In my collection I have a badge with a weep hole, and is genuine hollow constructed, does not have a half circle indentation on back of crown, but rather the recess follows the shape of the Bavarian crown, it is marked carl poellath , schrobenhausen, SILBER , still I am unsure on which ones are accepted, as stated above? i have looked at medalnet site also, it is still it not clear, as this badge does not fall into the two catergories of fakes, as he states badges with semi circle recesses are consider fake, and ones with spidering on the back marked with silver should be a be red flag, so i am confused where this badge that i have fits in?
    Many thanks for your help.
    Kind regards
    Wayne

        Hi Wayne!
Unfortunately this very type of badge you show us here is used by Steven Previtera in his book as an example for a well known reproduction.
(Which doesn´t mean that you could not find it in the listing of a reputated german saleshouse for 845 Euro...
        http://www.ebay.de/itm/222233430093?...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
        - truth to be told without the MM which clearly would mark it as a fake to decieve the collector...)
Regarding your other badge it might be a good idea to show us some pictures for closer examination...
        Regards
        Hagrid
