99.9% sure the cases are reworked jewelry or cutlery cases, a common practice these days. They show up almost daily on eBay.

Yes, the top two are most likely bad. The third one, with the bird, is definitely junk.

Is it possible that they were privately purchased, but before 1945? Not saying they were oficialy made to be awarded with badges, but as a display case, or maybe for present, or for widdows. Thanks
