How to differentiate Red Eagle Order and Allg. Ehrenzeichen on Ribbon bar?

Hey there,

The Red Eagle order and the Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen of Preußen have the exact ribbon on a ribbon bar. Does anyone know how to differentiate them?

Hi,

I suppose, by precedence and accompanying decorations. Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen was awarded to persos, who would not be considered for appointment to an order due to their rank - like lower and mid-level officials or Unteroffiziere.
