    Hi,

it s a non-combatant ribbon and this type is also worn by men.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

I'm no ribbon expert but of some reason I have a bad feeling about the ribbon. The edges seem very straight on the other side and not looped as they should imo be.

Someone else could probably chime in and give a red or green light for my thoughts.

You are right. Missed the once sided stitching. A repro. Probably glows under black-light. Can you test that?

            Hello:

Unfortunately, this is a modern ribbon. I believe that there were a few WWI and WWII EKII awards to female recipients, but these were very rare. Note that if an 1914 EKII with the normal combat ribbon in a bow configuration is encountered, the award was for wear on a Husar-type uniform or was worn in that manner by a civilian.

            Best regards,
