        Many thanks -- that's him. I pulled out the Luftwaffe General's volume and it is him.

          Interesting...he is wearing a Commemorative Pilots badge but I can not find him on any of the vicotry lists? Do you know how he won his PLM?

            According to the book, he was Fuhrer der Flieger-Abteilung (LB) 260 from April to November 1918 ...

              As an aside Homburg was an Aerial Photo specialist.

                ........ can you post a HD scan/blow-up of the PLM? Looks interesting with skinny-tail... be nice to see the detail of this PLM, so few fotos are crisp enough to do that!

                      It's the Pilot's Badge of Finland. They used the swastika too.
