That's a GREAT little bar. It may sound strange to say this, but what it DOESN'T have is what helps it to be even more interesting.
He wasn't in uniform in 1897. No China, No Colonial. Not even a LS. I would guess that he earned the Red Eagle and Crown order within a few short years to the Kaiser's government. The Russian St. Stan indicates that he must had some international exposure where he provided some respectable service to the Russians.
Can you show the reverse too?Comment

This A. Keibel made cross could be made before 1897.
My display set-up is for a pre 1897 Prussian Police Hauptmann

He has a 15 year LS clasp II cl. for non-comms and other ranks. I'm not sure it's appropriate for the uniform, unless it was earned before he was an officer.Originally posted by Claudius View PostComment
