              That bar should be from between 1898 and 1914. Any chance of an ID?

                That's a GREAT little bar. It may sound strange to say this, but what it DOESN'T have is what helps it to be even more interesting.

                He wasn't in uniform in 1897. No China, No Colonial. Not even a LS. I would guess that he earned the Red Eagle and Crown order within a few short years to the Kaiser's government. The Russian St. Stan indicates that he must had some international exposure where he provided some respectable service to the Russians.

                Can you show the reverse too?

                  Some Police officers and civil service guys received such Russian award for service during visits of Nikolaus II.

                  This A. Keibel made cross could be made before 1897.
