Engraved EK1 1914

Hey guys,

Id like to post an EK1 up for some thoughts, and a question about maker? i have a thought about the engraving but wouldnt mind to hear some more ideas and thoughts on it. I dont know the maker of this cross, imperial is not my field in that way as i have 1939 EK`s most. However i wouldnt mind a nice engraved EK, so please fire away what you think

It's been cleaned at some point. Also, the case doesn't belong. It's 3rd Reich.

You can never be 100% certain of when the engraving was done but I have
to say that I kind of like the looks of this one.
