    Saxon Medal?

Can anyone help me identify this medal? I think it is a Saxon thing but can not find anything like it in my references. Thanks in advance.

    Saxon Medal

    What is this?

I think it is a 1914 Saxe-Coburg-Gotha War Merit Cross. Is it rare or scarce?

It is a Saxe-Coburg-Gotha War Remembrance cross that was issued 1927. They came in this version on the ribbon and a 1st class pin back variety. Rare?? Valued around $70. So rarer than a Hindenburg Cross.

Sorry to differ with the other information provided, but I believe that this award was founded in 1918 and some where awarded in that year.

          Best regards,

Rarity and value rarely go hand in hand. There are millions of Hindys, these not so much.
