I got this case from Mike Dunn! He left his window open again, and I crawled in and took it off his desk while he wasn't looking.

I found a medal to go with the case!

... I think. I'm not certain this is the correct medal. Perhaps someone could weigh in on this.

This old veteran is pretty banged up. Pins are missing, which in a sense is "fortunate", for a reason that will become apparent in the next post.

The missing pins allow the frontispiece to be lifted!

And thereby some of the hidden details can be discerned.
