Burenkrieg 1899-1900 medal

I´ve found this medal and can´t find any information on the web. Anybody seen this before or knows something?

It is made of aluminium, 4 cm in diameter and weights 6,4 grams.

Is it support medal or it was created for the German volunteers of the Boer war?
