Hi,

I found this Imperial miniature stein at a flea market. I am not sure how old it is. I do not see any maker markings on it. Can anyone tell me whether or not it is a reproduction? I have never seen one this small. It only measures 6.5 inches tall!

The inside of the lid looks very dark (at least in the photos, maybe it is not really).

"Most modern pewter from about 1960 on has a velvety, sandblasted texture to the surface and the hinges are often rough appearing with what seem to be file marks."

There are exceptions, so the entire piece should be judged, not just the lid.
I can't see the detail of the design well enough to make a determination.
