Great thread and wonderful pics, Tiger 1!

The PlMs in post #4 are intriguing (apparently pre-1962), with the middle version one of the classic wide-waist "Rothe types" and the other two looking at first to be pie-top Wagners. However, on closer inspection they are not.

Both were made from the same dies and are very Wagner-esque in letter form, spacing, etc., but the eagles are not quite right and the letter forms are not quite right in all respects. The Oaks are not WWI period, either, if I'm not mistaken.

Are they early collector copies or products of an uncommon maker?
