    Very nice portrait! Being from renowned author gives it extra premium.

    Turnovsky can be Czech, Moravian, Slovak, but also Polish (it would be Turnowski or maybe even Tarnowski). There were relatively many Polish officers in Austro-Hungarian army, as Poles (especially noble ones) were considered more loyal to empire than i.e. Czechs.
