        So this is not good, if what I am seeing is a stepped core to mention just one.
        because I do not think the crown and frame are goo either, of course I stand to be correct.

              This core is just cracked; nothing more. It's not stepped.

              I also like this cross -- from what I can see so far. Without a view of the reverse it's not possible to say for sure what it is or when it was made. But I think it has a good chance of being a 19th C. piece (likely not from the early award period).
