    WWI Iron Cross Ring Sizes

    Is there any reason why some WWI IC 2nd classes have a 1/2" ribbon ring and some have 3/4" ribbon ring.

    Just my guess but I believe that the smaller ribbon rings were on crosses assembled on medal bars.

      Would it safe to say that the small rings are private purchase EKIIs and the large rings are presented EKIIs?
