    EKI Maker - help please

I have an WWI EKI with a maker mark of 5M stamped next to the catch. Can anyone tell me who this maker is or is this just another type of mark. Sorry my digital will not take a close up shoot of the mark.

Back side, the 5M is located at the bottom right of the pin.

Are you sure it's not "SW"?

George, No it is definetly 5M, SM or WS, but on examination with magnifying lens it appears to be eithrt SM or WS (I thought the S had a flat top making it a 5).

          Hi,

please check up the marker mark once again. M5 is not a known mm.
The only what come into question is mm K5. K5 is an unknown manufacturer yet.

Sorry, my mistake. It's probably "WS".

Who is this maker? The EKI is flat.
