Can anyone help me identify this medal?

For service in a shooting club. In my poor German, I believe it says "For 50 years of loyalty, Lieutenant Gereon, Shooting Club Vettweiss, 1888-1938."

The name of the shooting club cames from a saint called "St. Gereon" in the Cologne area.

Vettweiss is a town not far from Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia.

I told you my German was poor! I guess there is a big difference between a Lieutenant and a Saint, though I kind of wondered that Gereon was a strange name for a German. Definitely something lost in translation...
