    Bavarian Vet,s Pin

    Bavarian vets pin from the small village of Polling south of Munich-the pin reflects the Bavarian lion,Black Iron cross and the white blue Bavarian colors-reads " Veteran & Warriors Assocciation, Polling Est. 1881".
    Also shown is a WWI black wound badge .

    Based on the design, this pin is likely post-1945. Can you show the back?

        That pin back became more popular after WWI. Normally, imperial pins are just soldered on.

          It's possible that it's pre-WWII. But, the finish, the style of the lion, shield and EK and the lack of a maker's mark (these type of badges in the 1920s/30s were almost all made by either Deschler or Poellath and marked as such) leads me to believe it's from the 1950s-1970s.
