Does anyone have any information on this unit (16th Ulanen "Regiment Hennings von Treffenfeld") at the battle of Mars La Tour during the Franco Prussian war?
I am looking for a list of officers and or NCOs that would have been in the unit, or taken part in the Famous "DeathRide." Also does anyone know if there are any medal lists from this battle or the Franco Prussian war in General? I know how many Iron Crosses were awarded but would be interested to see a more detailed breakdown.
