First check with a magnet. If not magnetic then my pick would also be " neusilber" rather than tombac based on those images.

The next question, does a Juncker made from neusilber with that type of finish date from the period 1914-18 or 1920-40 ?

First type with a magnet, it could be silvered steel. If not magnetic then look closely with a loupe and see if any of the highlights show any exposed base metal.

It's not magnetic.
Will check with a loop if there are areas of exposed metal.
There are darker areas in the highlits (cross,hinge) honestly can't tell wether they are exposed metal or just darkened for wear.

Congratulations Dr. Mario. Perfect text book original. I would only say that I do not believe you will ever know the manufacturer. As with all issued stamped die-struck badges, it is conjecture.
