Ring with inscription on the inside.

First time ive seen a WW1 ring with the inscription on the inside , it has a silver stamp also to the inside, any particular reason why this would be

No great mystery. It's just a patriotic ring. Lots of these sorts of trinkets were available at the start of the war.

The inscription says: "We Germans fear God - Nothing else in the world."

Interesting ring....makes you wonder if it had had something on the outside at one time, or was possibly a gift from someone special or for some certain group who all wore the same ring. I doubt if we will ever know. Still it's a very cool item for the ring collector. It is also silver , but cannot make out if it is 800 or 900.
