      If it helps, he lived in Magdeburg and would have likely purchased locally.

      Kay I see you are very serious about the 1870 cross. So let me know if you see something I can improve here with a photo to help.

        well ,,there could be other sources to ,,,unexpected sources and makers who will chock and outrage some collectors.

        but that is for my next catalog research Topic I will open hopefully in the future
